Thankful

I am thankful for so many things, too numerous to count. My family, my friends, and my sweet, sweet husband. For trees that change colors and for mountains and oceans. For my cute car, Fiestaware, shopping, and shoes. For our beautiful marriage, for love, and for my wonderful life. I am a lucky little person, and I shall never stop giving thanks for that and much more. Happy (late) Thanksgiving to all! :-)

School is C.r.a.z.y.

Less than a month to go now in my third semester of nursing school. This set of classes has been by far the biggest academic challenge I've faced, and I will be happy to say goodbye to the semester. As long as I can say goodbye with a smile on my face, that is! :-)

Thanksgiving is getting so close I can almost smell it...mmm.

Say It Ain't So

But, unfortunately I think the buzz is true. How could sweet, old Bob Barker retire when I was finally getting to the point in my life where a roadtrip to California to be a contestant on his show could be a reality? I've only adored The Price is Right since I was in daycare, with some of my earliest memories involving that show twinkling on the TV screen in the background. It's a sad, sad thing. I love you, Bob. :-)

Waiting

Autumn and I wait for coffee. She's exciting in the morning...

Wow - I have a new favorite website!

After reading about it in a magazine, I had to give Lunchboxes.com a peek, and I found so many neato things. I have two favorites: one smart and one silly.

Is it ridiculous that I can spend extended amounts of time browsing adorable vehicles for my daily packed lunch? I think not. :-)

Well, this is mostly a test post, to see how much I like this Blogger format. I don't have much of a choice at the time, since our trusty old blog ran out of life, suddenly and sadly. So, this being as much cheaper alternative, I just may be happy with it alone. A new blog, a new leaf turned over...it is fall, after all.
